Hey guys,

I just wanted to put something out there to let it be known that I do have a project on the way out and I have not faded back into oblivion (again). In fact, it's nearly done. All that's left is to make a few coloration changes as the render (it's an LDD MOC) looks much different from the main file. However, I won't be able to work on it for about a week due to a tight scheduled, so it may be a little while before I can actually post the thing.

The request pertains more to naming, something I've never been good at. Basically, if any of you can think of a name that belonged to an interesting (but not super well known) historical, mythological, religious figure, or creature, I'd love it if you could tell me about them and what they represent.
Also, I'm still trying (and failing) to make that dragon that was requested so long ago.

1: who is your fav musical artist/band and why?
Probably Blind Guardian, they can compose in several different styles, the lead vocalist is very talented, and the (not the right word, but I'm using it anyway) tune of their songs are elaborate, but not cluttered. A close second would be Rhapsody of Fire for the same reasons

2: if you could create anything what would it be?
A WEAPON TO SURPASS THE METAL GEAR

3: what nationality are you?
I was born in America, but I'm more Italian than anything else.

4:why did you join DA?
Pretty much just to store pictures of my trash tier Bonkles.

5:most embarrassing public moment [optional]?
When to the museum as a kid, and followed a group of strangers around for a half hour think they were my family.

6: your best friend irl?
I don't really want to give names out, but he actually has an account on DA (although he doesn't use it anymore)

7: what is your best feature?
Why, it's my charmingly good looks, of course. Eh, idk. Just going to say my taste in music, because I can't think of a serious answer.

Q8: what is your worst feature?
I can be a bit bitchy at times, either that or my general lack of motivation to do anything.

Q9: if you could be the opposite sex for a day what would you do?

10: if you could change something about this website, or another what would it be and why?
I'd change the layout to how it was before the folder changes were put into place. It's annoying as hell (for me) to not be able to move items around inside folders.

Q11: what is your favorite piece of art from my gallery?
This one. tbh, there isn't a whole lot to choose from because most of your recent MOCs are WIPs, but even if there were several more, it'd probably still be this one. The details on this MOC are just very nice and the color blocking looks good as well.



Q12:what is your least favourite piece of art from my gallery and why and what could I do to improve 
my art?
Same issue, so I'll just leave some critique on your most recent WIP. The shaping it pretty good, but because it's nearly all black, it looks a featureless. I'm not saying "make it rainbows", but if you want to keep the monochromatic look, I'd advise giving him an obvious feature like wings, very large shoulder pads. Also, the feet and maybe legs overall look a bit small. Still a very solid MOC.

I'm writing this journal for a good several reasons. Firstly, a good friend of mine, bioniclenuva, is trying to fund a local singer. Hello everyone!
It has been a while since I have done a journal and I am still trying to get back to my usual DeviantArt roll again, but I'm not going to lie: that isn't going very well .
But that's not what this journal is about. No, I'm advertising for someone's crowdfunding campaign.
* Whose crowdfunding campaign?
The crowdfunding campaign is for the extremely talented singer-songwriter "Lisa Nora", who has been gaining quite the following in my area for the past year or so. Of course I wouldn't be writing this if I didn't have some relation to her. Well, our parents know each other well and her younger sister actually was my first girlfriend :3 (it goes to show how small our world can be and that we are all connected to each other in some way.
* Why would I want to fund her?
Lisa is a very talented and passionate singer-songwriter, who would love to one day be a professional music artist. She has attracted the likes of Ed Sheeran's girlfriend and many others, and T


Now, with that out of the way, onto a different matter entirely. I have been a very stressed recently, and I think I finally know why that is. When I started DA, my plan was just to save my pictures and dick around a bit. However somewhere along the line, it became more about trying to became an obsession. Throughout my time here, thanks to many of you, I feel my MOCing skills have tripled (meaning I'm still rather shite at it), but I've because of my own expectations I've hurt my enjoyment of the art and have become somewhat pissy. A few of you might have been on the receiving end of this, and I'm sorry. So, for now, at least, I will be leaving DeviantArt and the dragon request will be my last upload for some time.

However, if or when I return, I'll be bringing some cool shit with me.
